Who We Are....

Sho-Me Women Fish!  is a not-for-profit organization established specifically for and dedicated to teaching women to fish, attracting more women to fishing and to promoting conservation and responsible angling. Sho-Me Women Fish! especially promotes networking among women anglers and emphasizes mentorship between novice and experienced members.

Sho-Me Women Fish! sponsors weekend seminars each year that teach women fishing techniques at the beginner and advanced levels. The seminars offer a wide range of experiences presented in a non-intimidating environment, including classes on inshore, offshore, bottom and fly fishing.

There will be variety of exercises, with a hands-on approach to everything from knot tying to casting to filleting and backing a truck and trailer.

Sho-Me Women Fish! will also have one major fishing event each year. It will be an exciting adventure into unknown fishing territory! So grab your gear and your friends and plan a great vacation centered around your favorite sport.....fishing! (Spouses may join in these events)

Our mission is to instruct and educate women on the joys of fishing. Whether spin fishing or fly fishing, if it’s catfish, crappie, bass, walleye or going to Canada or Alaska after the big fish...we want you to learn it all!
